Social Gathering at The Whitby

Our gracious host, The Whitby Hotel on West 56th Street, served up a great wine and appetizer reception. Our special guests Assembly Member Tony Simone, Council Member Eric Bottcher, Borough President Mark Levine, and Council Member Gale Brewer mingled with the guests and discussed neighborhood events.

After about an hour of socializing, we were escorted into the Whitby’s private theater, where Gale Brewer and Mark Levine gave brief speeches about city problems and how to handle them.

Everybody had a great time, and we wish to thank Kathrin Apitz from The Whitby for her organizational skills and friendship.
