An LED billboard at 230 West 54th Street shines into bedrooms all night. The City has the paperwork and won’t show it. So we took the City to court.
NOISE
Sound on 7th Avenue
Council Members Maloney and Wilson have asked DEP for a noise camera on Seventh Avenue between 52nd and 54th Streets. Until it arrives, we are documenting the noise ourselves.
SCAFFOLDING
Ten Years of Temporary
The sidewalk shed at the Wyoming, 55th and Seventh, has stood for a decade. Our records request showed the City renewed it without reviewing it.
PRESERVATION
Historic Preservation
Since our founding we have pursued landmark designation for more than twenty buildings on West 54th to 56th Streets and won it for five.
